Association of Windows and Façades (Verband Fenster + Fassade - VFF)
The Association of Windows and Façades (Verband Fenster + Fassade - VFF) is the trade organisation that represents the leading manufacturers of windows, doors and façades, system and trade partners and installers in Germany. The VFF represents the interests of more than 350 firms in the window and façades industry.
This includes VOB support, the provision of statistical material for its members, drawing up guidelines and good practice guides for technology and training and CVD/CPD for the employees of the member companies. Other focal areas of the association's work include the RAL quality symbol, the topic of ecology, broad-based PR work, maintaining the association's website and intensive contact with the European Commission through the European association EuroWindoor.
The window and façade industry
The member companies of the VFF work with wood, aluminium, steel, plastic and glass. Every four years the VFF, in collaboration with the Künzelsauer Institut für Marketing, puts together an industry structure analysis of the German window and external door market.
